How the Trader Event Works

When you give him the right plants, your trade streak increases, unlocking progressively better rewards.
If you miss trading within the time limit, your streak resets, so timing is important. Early in the event, Trader Troy asks for common, fast-growing plants like strawberries, blueberries, and carrots. These are easy to plant and harvest quickly, helping you maintain your streak. Later trades require rarer plants like pomegranate, octobloom, asteris, coilvine, and gem fruit, which take longer to grow or find. To meet these demands, you can grow plants yourself, trade with friends, or use a game feature that allows skipping difficult requirements, though that costs Robux (the game’s currency).
Rewards and New Items
Trading with Trader Troy earns you a variety of rewards. These include new seeds for plants like pomegranate and wild pineapple, rare pets such as the Bearded Dragon and Pack Mule (plus others), and special items like the Gem Chest that contains seeds and pets. There are also crates filled with outdoor-themed cosmetics, large toys for pets, and a rare Chimera Stone. The event includes brand-new cosmetic gear and exclusive trade booth skins, which let you show off your event progress to other players.
Additional Update Features
Along with the trading event, a locked portal appears in the game, teasing future content players can look forward to. The update also adds performance improvements like a new Performance Mode making the gameplay smoother and faster.
