Forsaken is a Roblox survival game where you can earn character skins through gameplay without spending Robux. To get free skins in Forsaken, level up characters for milestone rewards, complete skin-related achievements, or earn qualifying badges in connected Roblox games.
The easiest starting point is milestone progression on a character you already enjoy. Other rewards may require a specific challenge, access to a particular character, or progress in another game.
This guide covers the main free-skin unlock methods, examples of earnable rewards, and the requirements you should check before starting. Here, “free” means the skin is earned through its stated objective rather than bought directly. Any separate character requirements still apply.
Ways to Get Free Skins in Forsaken
Start by identifying how your chosen skin is unlocked. Not every cosmetic shown in a secret-skin guide is a free reward.
| Unlock method | What you need to do | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Character milestones | Reach the required level with an individual character | Your character’s level and next reward |
| Achievement rewards | Complete a skin-specific challenge | The exact objective and required character |
| Cross-game badges | Earn a qualifying badge in another Roblox experience | Whether the badge remains obtainable |
| Event rewards | Meet an event’s requirements | Availability, deadlines, and currency costs |
Milestones provide a clear progression route. Achievement and cross-game rewards offer additional options, but their requirements can be more demanding.
Before committing your time, confirm that the reward is still available and that the guide you are following describes the current unlock method.
Unlock Free Milestone Skins by Leveling Characters

Milestone skins are earned by leveling individual Survivors and Killers. The standard checkpoints are levels 25, 50, 75, and 100.
| Character level | Standard milestone reward |
|---|---|
| 25 | Milestone I |
| 50 | Milestone II |
| 75 | Milestone III |
| 100 | Milestone IV |
Progress belongs to the character you are using. Reaching level 25 with one Survivor does not unlock Milestone I for every other character.
Choose a Character You Enjoy
Focus on a Survivor or Killer you like playing. Constantly switching characters spreads your progress across several reward tracks.
For example, you can work toward Slasher’s milestone skins while practicing his attacks and chase tactics. If you prefer a Survivor such as Jane Doe, build progress on her individual reward track instead.
Choosing a familiar character also gives you a useful gameplay goal alongside the cosmetic reward.
Aim for the Next Checkpoint
Check your current level and work toward the nearest milestone. You do not need to reach level 100 before receiving a standard milestone reward.
If you are close to level 25, start there rather than treating Milestone IV as your only target. Smaller checkpoints make your progress easier to track.
Also, be careful with older showcases. Legacy appearances may differ from the milestone skins currently offered, so check the reward shown in your game.
Complete Achievements to Unlock Forsaken Skins

Some Forsaken skins are tied to achievements rather than character levels. These challenges can require a particular character, a match condition, or a cumulative objective.
Read the full achievement description before starting. Placing a structure, reaching a match stage, and completing the required challenge are not necessarily the same thing.
Engineer Builderman
Published unlock guides associate Engineer Builderman with the “Put Dispenser Here!” achievement. The task is to build a Dispenser and keep it from being destroyed for at least two minutes.
Simply placing the structure is not the full requirement. You need to satisfy the survival condition as well.
As a practical approach, choose a useful position that does not unnecessarily expose the Dispenser to the Killer. Continue helping your team instead of treating the structure as your only objective.
Hacklord 1x1x1x1
Hacklord is associated with the achievement “For the outcome is already decided.” The documented requirement is to kill 50 Shedletskys while playing as 1x1x1x1.
Older guides may still list 100 kills. That requirement was reduced, so check the current objective rather than following an outdated number.
The cosmetic is earned through the challenge, but you still need access to 1x1x1x1. The character has its own separate in-game currency cost.
Wayward Taph
Published guides associate Wayward Taph with “Years in the future, but not many…” and describe a last-Survivor condition while playing as Taph.
Check the current in-game achievement description before attempting it. Reaching Last Man Standing and surviving that stage are different conditions, and a shortened guide description may leave out an important detail.
Get Forsaken Skins Through Cross-Game Badges

Some cosmetics are connected to badges earned in other Roblox experiences. These unlocks are separate from leveling your Forsaken characters.
The following are badge routes. Check each badge’s current requirements and availability before beginning a long challenge.
| Forsaken skin | Connected Roblox game | Qualifying badge |
|---|---|---|
| Gunner Guest 1337 | Isle | Predator |
| Ghost Two Time | Isle | Champion or Fallen |
| Juggernaut Guest 1337 | DOOMED 2 DIE | Facing Doom |
| Martyr 1x1x1x1 | The Battle Bricks | Chapter 4 – Utopia |
| Sixer Noob | A Story | A Story Now Told |
This list covers examples, not every free skin in Forsaken. It also does not guarantee that every connected challenge remains unchanged after updates.
Use the Same Roblox Account

Complete the qualifying badge on the account where you want the Forsaken reward.
Follow the connected game’s actual badge requirements. Joining the experience alone is not enough if the reward requires finishing a chapter or completing a challenge.
After earning the badge, return to Forsaken and check the relevant character’s skins.
Check the Difficulty Before Starting
Some crossover rewards require substantial progress. For example, the Martyr route involves Chapter 4 in The Battle Bricks rather than a quick action in the Forsaken lobby.
If you only want your first cosmetic, a nearby character milestone may be a more straightforward goal. Choose a cross-game challenge because you want to complete it, not because “free” makes it sound instant.
Check Event Skin Availability

Event and collaboration cosmetics should not automatically be treated as permanent free rewards.
Some have deadlines, some require event currency, and others may no longer be obtainable. A permanent achievement connected to a collaboration is different from a limited event-pass reward.
Before working toward an event skin, check:
- Whether the event is active.
- Whether the reward remains obtainable.
- Whether event currency is required.
- Whether the challenge has a deadline.
- Whether another purchase or character unlock is needed.
An old video proves that the skin existed, not that you can still earn it today.
Free Skins vs. Purchased Secret Variants
A secret appearance is not always a standalone free skin. It may be a variant of a cosmetic that you must purchase first.
Some secret-skin guides include shop cosmetics alongside earned rewards. Check the base skin’s requirements before assuming a variant is available without spending currency.
Keep these categories separate:
- Skins earned through levels.
- Skins awarded for achievements or badges.
- Skins bought with in-game currency.
- Variants of purchased cosmetics.
- Limited event rewards.
This distinction helps you choose an unlock method that matches your goal.
How to Equip an Unlocked Skin in Forsaken

After completing the requirement, return to Forsaken and open the relevant character’s customization options.
To find the reward:
- Open the character-selection or customization menu.
- Select the Survivor or Killer associated with the skin.
- Open that character’s available skins.
- Find the unlocked cosmetic.
- Use the selection or equip control shown in your interface.
Menu labels may change, so follow the controls visible in your game rather than relying on an older screenshot.
Unlocking a cosmetic is also different from unlocking its character. A skin reward does not necessarily remove a separate character-access requirement.
If the reward does not appear, check that you completed the correct level, achievement, or badge before assuming the unlock failed.
For a clear starting goal, work toward the next milestone on a character you enjoy. Then consider achievement and cross-game rewards whose requirements you understand. This keeps your progress focused without wasting time on unavailable skins or misleading unlock methods.
